The TARDIS landed hard. Kalia couldn’t figure out what had made her land here. She could tell she was not where she wanted to be, but not where she was. He frowned. It seemed that the TARDIS wasn’t going to get moving again, soon, either. She sighed, heading to the doors. She may as well go out and investigate.
She opened the doors, looking around. The air was oddly heavy. The mist was very thick, and she couldn’t see much. The road faded out before too long. Any buildings that she could see were nothing more than pale, featureless shapes in the distance. The air was ccold, as well. There was no noise, and the silence was deafening.
She stepped out, closing and locking the doors. Then she walked out of the alley she’d parked the TARDIS in.
It seemed as though there was no one outside. Kalia found that very odd. She wondered where everyone was. This place felt empty, wrong. She shivered, looking around.
"Hello?" she called out.Her voice echoed, shattering the silence, and all of a sudden, she felt uneasy. Her echo seemed to hang, heavy, and lasting, in the white, thick air.
Her footsteps echoed as she headed down the road. All the shops she passed seemed to be closed. None had signs of having been open for a time, now. She read signs as he walked past, trying to figure out where she was. A sign caught his attention. Silent Hill Bank. That must be the place she was, now.
She was thinking, when he nearly fell over. She looked in front of her quickly, started. The road broke off, there was no way to go further in this direction. She blinked, confused. What had happened here? She tried to think, but quickly realized that she’d bever actually even heard of Silent Hill before. She was somewhere she knew nothing about. Normally, that would interest her, intrigue her. Something unknown was always interesting, and she loved it. But this place felt wrong, she felt like she had to get out of here, soon. She stood back up straight, turned, and started walking again.
In the distance, she saw a shadowy figure crossing the road. At last, she’d encountered someone, someone who might know what was going on.
She sped up, running after the figure. “Hello! Wait up a sec! What's going on here?” she called out, her voice echoing unpleasantly again. Something about how that figure moved struck her as wrong. She tried to ignore it. He needed to know what had happened here. Her hearts sped up a bit.
When he rounded the figure, the shape was gone. She frowned, looking around.
The next thing she knew, something hit her from behind, and she almost fell over. She turned quickly, then breathed out, relieved. It was a normal looking person, the one that hat run into her.
"Are you alright?" she asked. "What happened here?" she asked. She tried to see if they were human, and hoped they would have answers.
