just check the reaction to the jaime/cersei rape scene in season 4. i know at some point i reblogged an entire post worth of links to external tv reviewers criticizing it (and the show’s treatment of women to date). i don’t remember what i tagged it as, exactly – check my anti got, jaime lannister, and cersei lannister tags because i know at least some of it is there). and pretty much every reviewer i’ve read is blasting the sansa rape scene as well and connecting it back to a larger legacy of problematic treatment on the show.
