okay so since @simpforfictionalwomen and I have been talking Tin Star:

why is it that, in a show with so many plot holes, the thing that bothers me the most is that when Jack tells Angela that Petey is dead while she is hooked up to a heart rate monitor, her heart rate does not change. at all. the woman is visibly and more than understandably distressed and it's an extremely difficult scene to watch because of how raw and visceral her reaction is

but the beeping of her heart rate? steady, calm, totally normal and composed

all the plot holes and timeline issues? whatever, just look past it, the show is bonkers and not meant to be realistic. Angela's heart rate monitor beeping wrong in that one scene? makes me want to chomp on a table
