DULCIE PLEASE SHE’S MOOOOD (hcs pls :)))
Oh, you're going to LOVE Dulcie once I post my letter themed fic, but for now, here are some spoiler-free headcanons for you:
As the baking-talent in charge, she's an overachiever, but she's also extremely introverted. Dulcie is a professional worrier. She gets things done but tries to predict everything in advance, which sometimes holds her back. For better or worse, she has a certain passive aggressive, tough-as-nails second in command (ahem, Ginger) who is very good at arguing with her until she's sort of forgotten to be anxious about things (...you'd almost think it's on purpose shhh)
Dulcie accidentally became a reader after an art-talent introduced her to a star-crossed lovers play and she was HOOKED. She's one of the few fairies that reads for pleasure, as most of them are social creatures that prefer spending time outdoors. Dulcie, on the other hand, likes to sleep in and stay inside all day with a book and a mug of willow bark tea when she has a rare day off.
Dulcie goes to sleep frightfully early, like before the sun actually sets early, which is kind of normal considering she has to be up before dawn every day to get the kitchens ready for breakfast, but her friends always chide her for dozing off on nights out, eyes drooping as she sleepily sips at her fairy wine.
Dulcie is close friends with two fairies that show up in the Tinkerbell movies as secondary characters (their names will be revealed soon enough, but feel free to guess)
Dulcie has wanted a pet for years, but she doesn't feel good about leaving the poor thing alone all day while she's working. But she spends a lot of time playing with her friend Plum's duckling.
Dulcie actually won the betting pool the warm season fairies had on Queen Clarion and Lord Milori (whether or not they'd make it post Secret of the Wings) as she was one of the few who voted in favor of them being together.
Dulcie can't hold her liquor to save her life and is a total sleepy drunk. Half a glass of fairy wine absolutely knocks her out with a smile on her face (the average fairy needs about two glasses to feel the effects).
Thank you for the ask!
