Doctor Who: Flatline

I rewatched this story on 8 September 2023.

We begin with a terrified man on the phone. He disappears, the phone dangling. Only the man hasn’t gone. He’s in the wall.

The Doctor is about to take Clara home (she lies about Danny’s okaying of her continuing travels with the Doctor) and while they’re in the right timezone, they’re in Bristol (not London), and the TARDIS has shrunk. While the Doctor tries to fix the TARDIS, Clara meets Rigsy, who tells her about the disappearances. The Doctor tells Clara she’s got to sort stuff out and they become a team in a way they’ve not done before. I always love it when Dr Who does something different with the formula (such as there is). The dimensional stuff is creepy and scary.

(I could do with a little less superhero stuff.)
