Okay... I've been looking for the best platform to gather info on this.
Something I've noticed in Animal Crossing New Leaf/pocket camp is a lot of indigenous style art in items. Like totem poles, tips Pendleton style material. Does anyone know if Nintendo has permission to do this? It if any indigenous people okayed it? I lived this game until I saw this stuff, just kinda feels like cultural appropriation.....
