Today I give thanks and honour my body for all of the things it allows me to do. The past 2 months have taught me that it's okay to rest, to do nothing and to not get caught up in the 'productivity' trap. I am thankful for the wonderful women I have encountered over the past few years in London. @missesco led the self-care crown ceremony last night and brought with her enough energy to nourish us all. I am reminded of the power of collaboration and of forming meaningful and supportive links. I love curating spaces and watching things that I've long envisaged in my mind materialising before me and coming to life. I feel privileged to be be able to 'dream' and to be allowed to share my dreams with others. Creating sacred spaces is something I've always naturally been drawn to even before 'self care' and 'sacred spaces' became buzz words. This is me completely in my element and being true to self. We spent the morning sipping tea and talking about our different experiences growing up as a woman in India, Zimbabwe and Canada.
