Welcome to Kachaf•Azus (the ball is important, Kachaf'azus is a surname and Kachaf azus is flying turtle)
Kachaf is a turtle like species, and azus is flying, the name means 'Flying Turtle'
The widest part of Kachaf•azus is around the same size as Tokyo
It is made of copper-like metal, lighter and that conduces magic better
The golden parts are made of a alloy that shines golden, its not that good at conducting magic, is heavier and oxides much faster than the copper parts, but it is cleaned two times a year to keep it shiny
The center of it is a giantic magic crystal that provides enough oxygen and ventilation to the floors that are closed off
The fins and lower parts are made out of metal mesh instead of solid metal. This makes these parts very humid and prone to oxidation, but quite well ventilated
At the top of the head rests 'The crown', a palace where the government and the royal family lives
The golden parts of the city have special magic casted over it to keep it at a constant temperature
The staple food in the higher floors is a grain, cultivated like rice but that taste is closer to wheat, that is grown the by the rear of the surface
The lower floors eat lots of mushrooms that grow very well in the humid, low light environment
Big parts of the city are inhabited because they are the moving parts of the aircraft, like the connections of the fins to the core
