Ok, time for a state of affairs

I'm not very good at these so I'm just going to say what needs to be said.

So Rose, the original creator of the blog, is gone. and from what i can tell, she left in a puff of smoke. She hasn't even updated her own blog in about 5 months, and I've been unable to get in touch with her.

The other guy, Dark Knight Dude, his blog doesn't exist anymore, so that pretty much counts him out as well.

So I (JackDoe) have been running the blog all by myself. basically every post for the last 4 months have been me. I'm trying my damnedest to keep this blog alive. 

I'm not an Admin on the blog, so some of you may have sent in submissions or mail, so the above reasons are why no one has been getting back to you.

But despite all that, Hay, 600+ followers. Thank you all a bunch. I guess that makes us Tumblr Known, not famous by any means, but still renowned in certain circles. Were not the biggest fish in the small pond, but we try.

Ok, Real Talk. You know what i'm tired of. Character bashing

Any kind of Character bashing. For what ever reason you don't like a character in a work of fiction, there's no reason to go out of your way to publish art or literature which is essentially an excises in how much you hate said fictional entity.

Are some peoples lives really that empty that they have to promote time and effort in to the slander of some one that never even existed. It is always the same augments too 'They annoy me.' being the most prevalent.

You know what i never see from any of these bashers though, how they would have done the character differently, it really show the lack of creativity in these kinds of people. In most character bashing fics or art they usually just depict there least favored character dieing or something horrible happening to them. what this tells me is that the person has missed a vital point in understanding the character. THEY'RE FUCKING FICTIONAL.

That's the only way you can fix a character? just kill them off? not write a fic that sends them down a path to change there personality for the better. Maybe the reconcile with some loved ones, or decided to be less of what you least liked about them. That's the up shot of hating fictional people, you, that's right, you, have the power to change them using only you mind, and it's free too.

So in summation, if your going to write a character bashing fic or draw some character bashing art before you pull out your hammer of piousness, sit back and ask these questions-

1. Why do i really hate this character?

2. What would i do differently with this character, without compromising the bass character personality?

3. How would this character achieve this evolution?

(sigh) ok i'm good now, i just had to say that.
