Again For The First Time
The boys meeting April is basically the same, and April doesn't differ from her canon self. The boys' plan was mostly to search around the scene of the crime, leading them to stumble onto April, who had the same plan. They gain an interest in her for mostly the same reason and witness her scooter being stolen. They follow her to the thief's hangout and step in to rescue her when the gang tries to attack her.
So, some important info: The boys are referred to by numbers. I was planning to hold onto who's who for suspense, but I don't care anymore. Their numbers are their rankings/heirarchy and were given to them by TCRI. In descending order:
ASSET ONE- Raph
ASSET TWO- Donnie
ASSET THREE- Mikey
ASSET FOUR- Leo
I will be referring to them by their numbers as that's how they refer to each other and are known as for most of the story.
Four's infatuation with April was the reason for their intervention so none of the other turtles was pleased to have gotten involved, especially since it led to them being seen by April. As they decide what to do with her, she's able to convince them to spare them by offering her help. It goes something like this:
FOUR, to April after the fight: Um... Hope that- you seem- are you ok?
APRIL, panics and cowers away: WHAT- WHAT ARE YOU GUYS?!
ONE: FOUR! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! KNOCK HIM OUT ALREADY!
FOUR, flinches: I'm just- he seems- (sees April's fear and softens) what if he's hurt?
ONE: What if he's- OH MY GOD, what is the point of you?! Two, deal with this! And don't do that slow walking thing you do! We need to get back to finding Superfly.
Two, annoyed, drops the goon he was inspecting and begins to 'do his slow walking thing'. While One looks ready to kill everyone in the room and Two desperately tries to come up with an excuse, April locks in to save her life.
APRIL: WAIT WAIT WAIT! I KNOW HOW TO FIND SUPERFLY! PLEASEDON'TKILLME!
This brought a pause. Two and One shared a look before One sighed, and Two sheathed his weapon.
ONE: FINE, but you're our hostage now! So no funny business or els- THREE STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
THREE, about to send April to her maker: I thought we were knocking him out?
Before One could combust from pure rage, a groan from the gangsters reminded everyone where they were.
ONE, sighs: We need to get out of here.
APRIL, cautiously: I know a place.
END SCENE
Wow, that was a lot of work but fun! I'm definitely just going to write out the scenes like that. Going to end this one here but tell me what you think. Also, is the formatting ok? I wanted them to each stand out but I think it just makes it hard to read. Should I have highlighted their names instead?

I feel it might be too early, but I think it's the easiest way to get me to work more on this AU and gives me an easier way to explain it. Also, I like roleplaying 😊
