i downloaded Krita and i tried out some fun brushes to ink and colour this sketch of an ancient ship that i recently rediscovered and that is a perfect vessel for the bottomless yearning in my soul :^)

Funniest thing about Rome season 1 is that they have the best use of plot armour ever: Vorenus and Pullo find the lost insigna, casually walk in on the herarium, survive a wreck that killed 5000 and casually meet with Pompeo. And Caesar recognize this. He should reasonably kill them and instead sees all of this and goes "no thank you, not gonna fuck with those Fortuna kissed idiots" and then goes on to die in March

for all romehbo’s many faults the dialogue where vorenus reproves pullo for wartime rape while establishing himself as a Wife Guy who remained faithful to her all these years which is followed by vorenus committing marital rape in the very next episode was a genius move on writers part
