everyone focusing on this one family is missing the point that this is endemic everywhere, domestic workers-- very often victims of human trafficking but who are also just as likely to be just extremely poor-- with no legal recourse are abused and exploited all over the world. the circumstances might not be exactly the same, but a quick google search will turn up results from the US to hong kong to the UAE. it takes different forms, but regarding it or discussing it as a similar institution to chattel slavery is flawed and unproductive to actually changing or improving the situation--
anyway the polaris project has a national hotline for victims of human trafficking and client services, and has a 4/4 rating as a charity organization so consider donating or setting up regular contributions

Our half-passes were really good today!Also our walk pirouettes.
Managed to do some piaffe steps without help from my trainer and I am so happy with it.
Tizón then got a shower and off he was with his friends in the fields.
Tizón was not happy about the rain.
Had a really good lesson today! I am getting to know him better, so our communication is getting loads better and cleaner. Did a lot of one handed riding again, did gallop-halt-gallop transitions for the first time and our piaffe is greatly improving.
