A detail I don't think anyone has mentioned
At the end of TLD, after Eurus has taken down all her disguise including her contact, it was obvious that she has heterochromia iridum, with one of her eyes being blue and the other being brown/hazel.
However, in TFP, during the entire episode, we see her eyes both clearly being blue
Now why would she be wearing contacts in her own cell? In the high security prison that is not allowed visitors? Does she leave Sherrinford regularly to buy new contacts? There is absolutely no explanation for this.
That's why I believe this is another evidence for the mind palace/dream/nightmare theory, that none of Ep3 is real (or I certainly hope it's not). I've been a firm believer of John's flash before death/nightmare/dream theory, however, after this discovery, I believe it might be something else.
Because John has seen Eurus, with her different eye colours. It is possible that he might have missed it or forgotten about it due to shock aso, but the eye colours were very clear to see, and he was in a fairly close distance. And I think he would've remembered this detail exactly because it came as such a surprise. Also after spending seven years together with Sherlock, I believe he must have learned a thing or two.
But there is one person who has not seen Eurus' other eye colour, Sherlock. He has only seen Eurus with her blue contact on, as Faith. And it would reasonable for him to remember her as such.
Now I do think the theories with TFP being John Watson's dream/nightmare makes sense, especially with all the horror movie references and the tjlc allusion. But relating to my previous very short, not complete at all post I made right after I saw TFP regarding this, I think there might be something there.
In addition, losing John would be the biggest nightmare that Sherlock could possibly have, and that's why the horror references can also make somewhat sense???
