0.5: they appear in flashbacks that the mc has, mentioned by name, or in video. there are some exceptions.

1: they appear by one of their sprites, in comic things, hear their voice, call with mc, texts, letters, or whole episode flashbacks.

If they're mentioned and appear I count it as 1 not anything else.

*So Mio is a bit of an interesting case this episode where he's hinted at a lot but they don't actually say his name till the end. I feel like the chpt 32 scene covers everything those hints where pointing at and then some, so didn't feel the need to make an exception and list them.

Ritsu is in second place! Not by much but still a major achievement for him and his fans this far into the story. Given how little we actually know about him, I'm a little surprised at how much he actually appears in the story. It's such an interesting choice based off the vibes I get from him he kind of seems like a good character that could have been shown his back story in s1. Given that they didn't I wonder what they're cooking up with his character.

Ren also happens to be quite high up on the leaderboard. Those cameos really do make a difference even if it often doesn't seem like it when having to wait months at time. Haru and Towa are doing pretty well for their second episode. Our main trio all had pretty even appearance totals for this episode. With them even showing improvement from their first episode.

Peekaboo has more appearances then Jin, Tohma, Subaru, Haku, Ed, and Yuri. Which is kind of embarrassing for them, but understandable given that most of them haven't had their second main feature episode yet. Ed truly has no excuses though. Peekaboo had less appearances this episode compared to his first episode as a feature (but not really a feature as it's only in my count). He needs to beat at least one of these ghouls in total appearances at the end of season 1, shouldn't be too hard with Tohma and Jin in our main cast. You got this Peekaboo.

Anyways I love this episode so much, it has in my opinion one of the best lore tease to fun little monster of the week ratios. Such a delightful little episode with one of my favorite houses.

Now onto episode 13, and looks like frostheim is getting their much needed second episode.
