I was sketching the two remaining kings of the Triple Alliance, and decided to throw in Ahuizotl as well to have the three together.
The lords of Texcoco, Tenochtitlan, and Tlacopan, by 1493 CE.
Tenochtitlán was founded in 1325 A.D. by the Mexicas.
A dominant city-state of the Aztec Triple Alliance, was formed in 1430 and composed of Tenochtitlan, Texcoco, and Tlacopan
24″ x 24″ Handwoven bamboo mat. Made of many hundreds of fine strips of twined bamboo. Used as the base framework for Mesoamerican “otlachimalli” shields.
It is then cut circular and reinforced with thick cotton canvas fabric and an edging of deer rawhide.
Tlacopan (also known later as Tacuba) was founded alongside the city of Azcapotzalco about AD 1400 by Tezozomoctli when he installed one of his sons as its ruler.
