Superpower is out! Yeeeeee3s! Gosh I love this song so much. Its so cute. And happy. And heartwarming. Sammy is such a cute, quirky character and Benjamin is also a very cute, kind, incredibly talented human being who delivers this song amazingly.

I love the music itself so much. Its so fun. You cannot help but get hyped when you listen to it. Its so freaking good.

But what I really really love is this song is the message it conveys. I mean yes Sammy is a queer character, but his superpower isnt the fact that he is gay, its because he different. Queer also means to be different. And lets be honest I think many of us had been called "different" or "weird" but Superpower says that it is not a bad thing to be different, to be unique but it is something to be celebrated. So yeah being queer -in any meaning of the word- is cool. Lets go! Im gonna listen to this song all day long.

Pride Lost Boys (musical) head cannons!!!

Note, this pertains to all the main characters. These are my interpretations of them. Also, this is set in a modern au.

Sam: Wanted to go but was too scared at first. Michael and the Vamps assured him he would be fine. He ends up with a rainbow on his face that’s almost as big as his smile. He felt seen and loved that he had older queer people he could look up to.

Michael: Didn’t know about the Pride fest Santa Carla had until Marko mentioned it. He’s still figuring out his own sexuality and wanted some insight. He could tell Sal wanted to go so he agreed to go with. He stays with the Vamps most of the time, but they have a good time. He feels comfortable with these people and let himself open up a bit more.

Lucy: She didn’t know about the Fest at first. She caught Sam and Michael sneaking out to go. Once they explained what they were doing, she immediately got dressed and went with them. She loves her sons and wants to be there to support them. She gets her fave painted and runs into old friends. The vamps are cautious at first but realize she truly meant no ill will.

Star: Star had gone to pride a few times. She’s also unsure about her sexuality, but knows she has a place in the queer community. She lets loose at the fest; letting herself dance and sing like no one is watching.

David: David has also gone to Pride a few times. He was incredibly hesitant at first, but began to realize he belonged there. He now knows he’s bisexual and wears it with pride. He doesn’t socialize as much as the rest of the group, choosing to just drink it all in. Michael ends up pulling him on the dance floor.

Marko: Marko and Paul started going to Pride first. Marko is gay and trans so he finds a lot of comfort knowing he’s not alone. Paul and him typically walk the parade (depending on when the event starts. The fest is usually at night and the parade around sunset).

Paul: Paul is pan. He goes with Marko every year without fail. He always cheers the loudest for Dwayne and buy so much pride swagger. He bought Sam a little pride pin.

Dwayne: I am a firm believer that Dwayne does drag. He’s pan and somewhere on the asexual spectrum, but isn’t exactly sure where. He wishes there was more representation for asexuals, but still has a fun time. He does the drag show most years and has emceed a couple of times.

Alan and Edger: Alan is trans masc but doesn’t really care for labels. The two brothers go to pride with Sam to “protect him from the homophobes”. They spend most of the night following Sam and getting food.

Max: doesn’t go/is dead.
