You know how in the movie chen makes a diss track for lloyd? What if it was similar to takedown from kpdh and they sing it at a school assembly of sorts to make it public-

You know, the only Chen (the cheerleader) ship I ever see is GreenCheerleader, and while I passively think it’s Neat (/pos), I’d like to propose (see: talk more about) my own Chen ship: Poprocks (Chen the cheerleader x Movie!Cole).
Please ask me about them. I have a mouth and must yap.

Another day, another chapter! This time, we get to meet our Dorksquad!

So because I’m in a Zelda mood, but also in a Ninjago mood, have some more Skyward Sword au headcannons:
The Wing Ceremony and the teams:
There are three teams of four competing in the wing ceremony this year
On our heroes side we have Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane as expected. Them, along with Nya have all been friends with Lloyd since childhood. And they would rather fall through the cloud barrier than let the bullies team win the ceremony.
Nya wanted to participate, but she knew how important this was to the boys. Besides, someone had to help mom and dad with the old blacksmith shop. (Not to worry! Nya won’t miss out on all the hero stuff, she’ll get her time a bit later)
The bullies team consists of Chen the cheerleader, from the movie.(who will be essentially taking the place of Groose, but with different motives) Harumi is basically the second in command of this group, but sometimes it feels as if she’s the one pulling the strings.... The next member is Gene, who has a tactic at the ready to win the wing ceremony, it has a 98% success rate. C’mon Gene, you should know by now that the Ninja don’t do percentages. The last member is Brad, who’s just along for the ride because he’s Gene’s roommate and they needed another member.
The last team consists of Akita, Kataru, Vania, and Benthomaar. Akita wants to win this to prove herself to her parents and to Lloyd. And it’s only because he’s the son of the headmaster and definitely not because she’s had the hugest crush on him since he saved her when they were little. Nope. Definitely not.
Chen brags to the ninja about how his dad’s one of the best knights in the academy. He picks on them a lot, but when one of the adults are around, he’s the nicest guy in the room, cuz he wants to get in good with the headmaster.
Harumi likes to make fun of Akita and goes on and on about how when they win the ceremony, Lloyd is gonna fall for her. But of course Kataru has to hold Akita back from strangling her.
FYI, Harumi doesn’t actually like Lloyd, she likes the idea of them being a couple being favorable with his father. Because of course she does.

Because I’m trying to update my fics more consistently… time for a reintroduction of Straight As! It’s a fic following Chen Amber, the cheerleader from The Lego Ninjago Movie, and everything hidden beneath the surface of his family’s perfect facade. If you like movieverse fics and TLNM headcanons/worldbuilding galore, I’d love it if you gave my fic a try!
Chenifer Chenber Jamber Amber Jr. II, known to most as just “Chen”. A cheerleader at Ninjago City High school, on the surface having everything a teenager could want: riches, popularity, good looks, you name it. He play his part perfectly, scoring straight As in class, being the cheer captain, and being acceptably snarky to Public Enemy #2: Lloyd Garmadon.
But, beneath the surface, his family has secrets, dark secrets. Secrets Chen wants nothing more than an escape from… but he knows that’s ridiculous. He’s an Amber, after all, and that fact alone makes him beyond redemption.
