Hey, did we ever figure out why Kiriona knew so much more about necro stuff than Gideon? Did she learn it from Jod? Did she eat some of Harrow? Did she learn it while she was locked in Harrow’s head?

Because I know there’s a passage in Nona where she recites some jargon back to Palamedes and he looks “like he’d been slapped.” And I have no idea where she would have gotten that knowledge.

Just realized the deeper implications of Harrow’s lobotomy and why John sent Duty after her…she showed God he isn’t the only one who knows where memory lives.

Ways to approach the poll if the character isn’t a royal:

If you think they’d be from a smaller house, go with the Great House that that smaller house is sworn to (ex: House Manderly —> vote Stark)

They don’t have to be a nobleperson, they can be someone working for the house or being ruled by them. Roles could be a sworn-sword, a septa, a butcher, a blacksmith, or even a lowly peasant.

You can consider the region itself. For example, if you feel the character would be from Dorne, pick House Martell.

You can consider the personality of the character. For example, if your character is all about honor, then consider either House Arryn or House Stark.

Last, but not least, be creative with it! For example, there was a comment I read that the character who was the subject of the poll would be pulling a Littlefinger, so they went with either Lannister or Tyrell as that would be that character’s target houses.

Taking a Greek myth class for the first time is great, but taking it in the midst of a tlt obsession will give you whiplash.

Naming the furies? Hi Alecto! Some guy is just named Palamades? Sure, why not.

The one that got me the most was when my prof mentioned who Protesilaus was- the first to leave the ship and the first to die in the Trojan war... I just had to sit there and think "damn it Tamsyn." It was there the whole time!
