Okay people keep making fun of how Jon pronounces Gerard. But guys. He’s just using a pronunciation that is fairly common!

Not only that! Gerry pronounces it the same way! Just listen to this recording from 111 of how he calls himself. 

Sure Gertrude pronounces it more distinctly than that but this is how the person himself pronounces his own name, and it’s just like Jon does.

Please guys, either stop making fun of Jon, or start making fun of Gerry as well. Gotta remain consistent XD

So I was relistening to 188 and heard this sound (second part of the recording) in the middle of the episode. The transcript goes like this (unofficial but still indicative): “MARTIN: At least there aren’t any cars.[MORE WHIRRING, AS SPOTLIGHTS FLARE INTO LIFE WITH A HEAVY KA-CHONK SOUND]”

You know what? this sounds really familiar. I always thought the intro/outro sfx before and after each episode (first part of the recording) sounds like a light switch breaker in a warehouse/storage unit turning off (as opposed to turning on, at least to me). Like archive storage lights perhaps. But maybe with the sfx from this new episode we can deduce they are actually spotlights. Now in the Eye domain, in the center of London, Jon and Martin will probably always have spotlights on them, following them everywhere. 

So beating the Eye will turn these spotlights off… you see what the intro and outro did? They were foreshadowing all along.
