I’m definitely too late but here is my little @tmanostalgiaweek drawing for the day 1 prompt: favorite!!

I love martni the most and my suspicion is that in season one he was about two seconds away from losing it at all times and trying his best to hold it together

Tim Stoker, The Rogue Element. He leans back with two hands in his lap, sitting upright. INTRODUCING TMA NOSTALGIA WEEK!

TMA nostalgia week is a week long art and fic event focusing on the main 4 characters from season one! After the finale, we'll be itching to return to simpler times - Try your hand at a little nostalgia <3

The obvious: No hateful content! Nothing racist, homophobic, transphobic, acephobic, etc.

Dont belittle other people's entries! No hate is welcome here ×

As this is centered around the season 1 cast, please make content that puts one or more of the season 1 quartet in the spotlight! Other characters are allowed, like Elias or Rosie, but cannot be the main focus

Additionally, art and fic must take place in season 1 if it has a stated setting and time!

Tma nostalgia week day four - pride

i’m almOST TOO LATE BUT @tmanostalgiaweek day two: romance! did just a cute little;;; whatever this is for polychives.

Sasha had never been one for the… dramatic aspects of romance. The flowers, the chocolates, the grand declarations, they just weren’t her style. No, it was the little things that made warmth bubble up in her chest, made her laugh breathlessly and want to cheer at the sky.

Things like when Jon was working a late night and she went into their office, bearing a big cup of tea and a gentle nudge toward going home for the night, even though she knew he wouldn’t. He’d be asleep, facedown on his desk, and she’d feel a warm smile spread across her face as she shook their shoulder gently. She’d press the tea into his hands and amidst half-hearted protests- “I’m in the middle of work, I won’t sleep anyway, you should be home already, really-“ the two would make their way to the breakroom couch. It would seem only a few moments later when they were fast asleep again, tea half-drunk and their head resting on her shoulder. His face would be relaxed, peaceful, his brow unfurrowed like it almost never was in the waking world, and she’d resist the urge to kiss it as she stood, laid them down as softly as she could, and covered them with their own coat as a blanket.

Or when Tim got it into his head that they needed to go out and get a bunch of cute little stationary supplies, in the middle of the day, and they’d end up darting out and coming back laden with canvas bags of stickers and paper clips with little hearts on them. He would dump his burden on the plastic folding table and immediately start unpacking it, sorting his wares into little piles- for Martin, for Jon, for scrapbooking, for work- and she’d sit down next to him, trading and debating and decidedly not getting any work done.

This would last for the better part of the morning, music playing tinnily from her phone, while he hummed along and they competed to see who could stack binder clips the highest before they came crashing down. Then she’d remember something that was due that night and get up to go back to work, but before she could, he’d be slinging an arm around her with a grin and planting a tiny, glittery butterfly sticker right on the tip of her nose. She’d giggle, and smile with a swell of affection every time she noticed the sticker all that day.

Or when Martin had read a new book over the weekend and had it on the mind, and he would sit and talk about it for ages and ages. She would sit with him wherever they happened to be and simply listen, letting whatever stress she had in her mind melt away with his voice. He’d go on about character development and plot twists and she’d ask him a question here and there, and she’d absorb everything she could in his excited hand gestures and sparkling eyes.

He’d been bashful about it, at first, but now he would simply… let it happen, knowing she’d listen and that it was more than likely she had a ramble of equal strength to give him in return. And so they’d talk, and keep talking, and be content, and be listened to.

But it was best when it was all four of them. Maybe they were out at a bookshop, or in a park, or in a pile on the couch like they were now, but these moments were those that no matter what, Sasha would treasure forever. With a shitty old horror movie on Martin’s TV, her head in Tim’s lap and his hand running through her hair, Jon half on top of her and half on Martin, all hand-in-hand, she suddenly felt like she could just burst with the feeling of home pushing its way into her chest.

It was moments like these, she thought, where she really thought she might be falling in love.
