i just wanted to let you know that i don't know you and i know that but i wholeheartedly support you and want you to be happy because we were put here on this earth to feel joy and no your creative efforts aren't bad because you made them at all and that's great and don't bother comparing yourself to others and people love you and don't forget that please thanks
In these moments of spiritual warfare I would like to say we all as christians and human beings alike we should be putting jesus first. Jesus is coming back soon we dont know what day or the hour but jesus is coming back soon.
Everyone needs to repent and turn to God. Everyone needs to see the real him. Not the false him that the demonics thrown around but the real him. Not the lies about him that the demons have claimed. But the true him.
The actual true real him. Open your hearts to God. He will reveal the truth to you. He will reveal more things about himself to you through the holy spirit and himself. So please while its not too late open your hearts to him.
He wants you all to know him, he wants you to open your heart and have an actual joyous relationship with you. He wants you to know him, for him. He wants to be a part of your life.
It's not too late. Evil says its too late but its not thats a lie. It's never to late for God. Hes always right on time. So please just give jesus your time and be patient with him because he is always patient with you.
Jesus answers your prayers and calls not how you think he would but he does answer them not on your time but on his time. But he does answer them.
So please allow jesus to be a part of life. Whatever happened, or whatever sin you commited, just remember its never to great for jesus to handle. He will forgive you and give you mercy if you truly ask for it, and change your ways. He even will wipe you clean of your sins and any pain thats happening. Just believe him and trust him.

A little earlier this evening, aka yesterday, I was scrolling through youtube after a long day of family fun, splendiferous sweets, bright paper packages tied up with strings and other chrimas stuff, and I saw that somebody had made a ytp of the latest Will Wood album, Slouching Towards Branson.
Now, I'm an artist on tumblr with purple spirals for eyes so as you can probably guess, I like Will Wood as much as the next that, so I wanted to watch it. I'm not gonna say no so a good laugh. But I didn't, instead I opened it up in a new tab for later watching. Because it didn't feel right to watch a spoof of an album, without first listening to the original album.
So I did. I sang along with the songs, I listened to the stories and the surrounding plotline, and I had a great time. The experience of doing so gave me a kind of hope in humanity I hadn't had in a long time.
I don't know how true any of the events spoken of on the album are, but like he said towards the end of it, it really doesn't matter. What matters is, as far as I can make out, meaning and how you find it. You know, the whole pants thing.
I feel like I understand where Will Wood is coming from regarding the belief that everything falls apart. I'll cop to the fact that that does have an awful tendency of happening a concerning amount of times, especially this year. But that said, I can't honestly say I believe the same thing. I just can't. It's almost definitely because he and I haven't been through the same experiences, but I like to think it's because we're just wearing different pants, so to speak.
I believe in something like the carousel from the end of the catcher in the rye. I know that voicing appreciation for that book online is usually a red flag but I promise you'll see where I'm going with this. At the end of the book, Holden is watching his sister try to grab a gold ring while riding a carousel. He's been pretty cynical throughout the book, but watching her have so much fun up there kind of changes his perspective. He stops seeing adulthood as a slow descent into corruption and shit and starts seeing it as a constantly fluctuating carousel-type loop, going towards and away from the gold ring of innocence. I might not be remembering the specifics of the book very well, but again, it doesn't matter.
I believe that as stubbornly frequently bad things happen, good things are just as stubborn and just as possible, especially when good people make them possible. Constantly moving away from and towards the gold ring of happiness, so to speak. I believe that just because we might be moving away from it now, doesn't mean we can't push ourselves back toward it, or should ignore it entirely. That's accepting defeat. I'm not gonna do that.
No matter how you feel in the moment, there is almost certainly something that will make you feel a little less bad, and you should find it. Or if you can't find something that makes things less bad, make something. A nice work of art, a good book you like, your relationship with a loved one, it could be almost anything as long as it makes you smile. Hell, if you want you can listen to Slouching Towards Branson yourself, I highly recommend it.
Speaking of, the funniest thing about all of this is how I got to this conclusion. I listened to this album because I wanted to watch a spoof of it. I wanted to check out something that might make me laugh, which it did. It took a luck of the draw scroll on youtube and the random chance of finding something funny to rekindle that spark of hope in my chest. I don't know, I just think there's something amusing about that in its own right.
The more hope that people can find and spread, the less of an endangered species it becomes, so whether you have to lie to yourself about it like Will Wood did or genuinely believe it like me, I encourage you all to find or make something that gives you hope when you need it. You'll thank yourself later.
