Ya'll remember when Apollo lowkey got mad, too many people had a name ending with the same letter as his, hence making it a point to say he'd call Jo "Josephine"....and then never followed up on that?
Yeah good times

I need Josephine to meet Hazel!!!!!!!! Jo is from 1920s, Hazel is from 1930s. Both are African Americans. Jo is Hecate's daughter, Hazel is Hecate's apprentice (kind of). Imagine Hazel, who misses her mum Marie but tries to avoid thinking about her and doesn't remember much about her, sitting with Josephine who does Hazel's hair and just listens to her vent about her childhood. Jo empathising and giving comfort without being condescending. Imagine Jo teaching Hazel how to use the Mist and explaining the history of Black hair care products that the kid has missed in the time that passed. Imagine Josephine seeing herself in this traumatised child and supporting her the way the Hunters had supported Jo herself. 👍🏿👏🏿💅🏿
I love Jo and Emmie and all.
And its great that Leo found a home after so long.
But I always think...
What about Harley?
Harley worked so hard to get his brother back, and then when Leo comes back he just leaves and finds a new family?
Imagine how heartbroken he is
So I dislike the fact that Leo leaves camp to go live at the WayStation.
And im not even going to get into Caleo
(Good news is that when we get to House of Hades in my fic that aint gonna happen, and im not even sure im going to have her there at all)
Me, reading Trials of Apollo: Oh yay! A limerick! I love limericks, they’re easy and fun to write and they’re lowkey cool.
Apollo: Oh gods help us, we have been forsaken with the worst poem of all, a limerick.
Me: what? Why are limerick’s bad? They’re lowkey kinda cool…
Jo, in book two after Apollo recites the limerick prophecy: You dare utter a limerick under this roof?
Me: SERIOUSLY WHAT DO YA’LL HAVE AGAINST LIMERICK’S?? WHAT DID MY GUY DO?
Me: Well if for some reason limericks are bad at least I still have Shakespearean sonet that is to the beat of a heart, which I think is really cool-
Apollo: GODS NO, NOW WE HAVE BEEN DOOMED WITH A SHAKESPEAREAN SONET!
Me: GOD F****NG DAMMIT
In today’s news, local ToA fan horrified by the implications of fan fiction tags. More at 12.
I just came up with this idea about why Apollo doesn't remember Goergie
Basically Georgie's dad isn't Greek! Apollo, it's Roman! Apollo
If Bacchus couldn't remember Percy despite Dionysus knowing Percy
Then maybe that's the same case with Apollo and Georgie?
Idk just a thought

Just because Reyna is Canonically Asexual doesn’t mean your lesbian headcanons have been disregarded, but it also doesn’t mean that she’s necessarily heteroromantic and that Rick supposedly ‘hates w|w’
You wanna know how I know Rick doesn’t hate w|w?
Lavinia, Jo, and Emmie. Aka three happy lesbians. Which people would actually know about if they thought about reading the series 👀
🖤🤍💜 Asexual Reyna is amazing! 💜🤍🖤
