happy out of touch thursday (it's tuesday)

late night (2am) drawing sess a few days again with a friend of course turned into a full drawing, we call them i spy doodles.

I've offically come full circle a decade later since I'm back hyperfixating on the Arthurian legend distracting myself from everything and listening to the same music as my 14 year old self was. But hey at least I have the confidence in drawing them now.

I love them so so dearly I'm going just a little insane, I'm sorry to everyone who doesn't know me beyond my usual fandoms, you have to put up with what rearranged my brain chemistry when I was a kid.

This started as just a few of the knights, Lancelot, Gawaine, and Galahad and then it became: "Oh but then I should draw __" and here we are. My designs are all over the place and I cannot be bothered to actually draw armor I'll die i just want to draw pretty patterns. But I think the mismatch of clothing styles and all that makes it cohesive?

And I'm going with Malroy and T.H White influence as it's what I know best, that being said all the boys have their coat of arms alluded to in some way but you might have to squint.

(my laptop absolutely hates me for this one. imagine exporting a file and then having to manipulate the sizing 3 times for it to even be able to upload anywhere, couldn't be me. I don't even know how to show the full thing..)

Another round of them! becuase I love them and I'm keeping myself sane (procrasinating work). Thank you for all the love on my initial round, I hope you like whatever I have going on for this batch :)

My only regret is not getting more creative with implementing some of their coat of arms, but I still like what I ended up doing. Here's hoping the colors aren't totally wonky I have a new laptop and it's been so frustrating figuring out the color settings.

I posted progess pics of this one way back in uuuhhhh 2023 and then just never worked on it which is insane because I love this one tbh just didn't vibe with it at the time i guess. Anyways here they are now in all their doomed yuri/doomed yaoi glory.

Hi! I got supper busy! and by busy I mean injured.

I'm fine but hey happy trans visiblity day!

totally unrelated but I have just been laying around distracting myself so now I have decided to once again draw a cast line up. All the martial gods for now, since I got to tweaking up the QYZ and YY one I'd already done and redoing my awfully huge poster thing I started like 4 years ago now. Doing it this way is more fulfilling to me, maybe one day I'll return to it but not now.

mini ramble/vent/what have you below cut

I got completely and utterly distracted with life and having no motivation to post anyhing despite drawing everyday, as it goes :3

Hope you all are well, I have been focusing a lot on my stories and drawing a lot of my characters, and even though I've posted them a few times I always feel weirdly guilty about posting that since it's not really what I have an audience for, but I'm still going to because it's what I want to do and care for. I don't plan on making a seperate blog or anything since I like this blog as my little dumping site looool.

I haven't been working on a lot of fan content, but that's mostly because I just got burnt out and will still return to all my WIPS and projects I intended to do and then kinda fell off the face of the earth with so sorry.

I'm a busy guy stressed about credentials and life but it's all good, I've had this sitting in my drafts for like 2 months, stay tuned for me digging my head out of the mud :)
