not to be dramatic but i’d die for him
Hello!
In my most jocular tone ever: the Mcdonalds post is Clyde Logan erasure!
Jokes aside I am curious about where you think that character would be?
Okay, you’re absolutely right, and I’ve corrected the error. 😹 I added everybody else for good measure, too.
First part screenshots from He dreams of Giants.
Please credit me if you post them somewhere else :3

Are prompts open?? If so, could you write about when Andrew and Toby became mates? It feels like it was kind of sudden or? Was it planned? If so, was Toby freaked out when Drew asked?
Was it a disaster-toby-kind of thing? What happened??? Love uuuu
Toby doesn’t know why he ran.
It’s what he does, he supposes, sighing as he throws another stone into the lake; he ruins everything. His fear of commitment has haunted him since his teens, since presenting as an omega and suddenly becoming very aware of what a bite on his neck could mean for someone like him.
Entrapment, ownership and an end to his own decisions, now ruled by an alpha who only wants him for his body, to bear pups. The fear of a claim mark is one of the reasons why Toby began to wear a scarf or an ascot wherever he goes; to keep the sight of his pretty, unmarked neck away from hungry, predatory alphas.
And now, he’s ran away from the only alpha who has never made him feel like just a piece of meat.
“I thought I’d find you out here.”
Toby jumps, startled. He turns quickly to find Andrew standing a way away in the tall grass, holding Toby’s favourite white jacket in his hands.
“Drew—”
“Here,” Andrew says, tossing the omega his jacket. “You must be freezing.”
“Uh.” Toby had recognised a chill on his skin but being so lost in thought, he hadn’t realised that he’d charged out of the cabin without a shirt on, barefoot too. “Thanks.”
Now shivering against the autumnal wind, Toby puts on his jacket and fastens it, pulling the collar up to hide as much of his neck as he can, seeing Andrew flinch and frown at his actions.
“You wanna tell me why you ran? Or should I just guess?” The alpha says, expression softening. “Because I think running away from someone when they ask you to be their mate speaks volumes about what the answer is.”
Toby’s heart clenches in pain at the hurt tone of Andrew’s voice. He turns his back on the alpha, launching another stone into the lake with a heavy throw.
“This weekend,” Toby sighs. “It was all building up to you wanting to claim me?”
The break away from their city life to Andrew’s family-owned cabin in the mountains, surrounded by a private lake and beautiful scenery, didn’t seem suspicious at first. They’ve had weekend breaks here before, cosy winter nights in each other’s arms in the small bed and coffee mornings on the porch as the sun rose above the mountains in the distance. All of that beauty seemed tarnished now as the omega feels the walls closing in around him like a cage.
“No,” Andrew shakes his head. He keeps his gaze on Toby whilst he fishes for something in the pocket of his navy trousers, pulling out a little white box with a red ribbon around it. “I was going to ask you to marry me.”
Toby can only stare in awe as Andrew opens the box and reveals a silver ring with a shining green gem in the middle of it, resting on a velvet pillow. The omega is speechless for the first time in his rowdy life, with only curse words coming to mind.
“Holy fucking shit,” he gasps.
“To ask you,” Andrew says softly. “Not to force you to do anything. Not to claim you or mark you. I just wanted to take the next step with you, Toby. That’s all. It’s your choice.”
Toby’s shoulders slump just before he falls to the ground on his ass, exhausted and confused. The alpha is by his side in a moment, placing a calming hand on his trembling knee.
Toby shakes his head, “I’ve never trusted an alpha before you.”
“I know.”
“I thought you were going to…”
“I know, Toby,” Andrew says, leaning in and giving the omega’s cheek a gentle nuzzle. “As soon as you bolted, I knew that I’d made a mistake.”
“You?” Toby scoffs. “Your mistake?”
“Yes. You’ve told me about your fears of being claimed and I was too bold. I should have been more delicate instead of trying to surprise you with an engagement ring. I’m sorry, Toby.”
Andrew bows his head, looking at Toby through his messy red curtain of fallen hair. He looks perfectly innocent, younger than the callouses on his hands would suggest. Andrew Henry may be an alpha but he’s the best that Toby has ever met.
“Drew,” Toby says, cupping Andrew’s cheek and bringing his gaze up. “I’m sorry for running from you. I’m sorry for thinking that you were gonna be like the rest of them.”
“It’s okay.”
“No, it isn’t. I let my past hurt us.” Toby looks down, feeling himself blushing underneath the pretty alpha’s gaze. “I know you. I…love you. I want to marry you.”
“Toby,” Andrew sighs. “There’s no rush.”
“It’s been almost three years,” Toby nods, reassuring himself too. “I want to be yours.”
Andrew’s smile is the most beautiful thing that Toby has ever seen. With one strong sweep, he’s lifted into Andrew’s arms and held as though he weighs nothing; it’s one of the benefits of dating an ex-soldier, ex-trapper.
When they kiss, Toby takes a deep breath and feels the skin on his neck beginning to tingle, and he isn’t afraid.
