Tier List of how good Re:Zero characters are at killing Subaru

I guess this is what we're all doing now.

I don't feel like there are any surprises here.

A few of these were difficult choices to make and came down to the very important factor of if I found them funny or not.

Favourite Sin Archbishop is Capella because even though I love Betelgeuse, he's a bummer.

Favourite side-character was very almost Chisha, but alas, the funny factor.

I almost put Subaru as the over-hated, but came to the conclusion that she was more underrated than anything. And also holy fuck there is so much Emilia hate going around. Like. How? What did she do wrong?

Roswaal is the least like me because. What the fuck is wrong with him. Like I know what's wrong with him, but still. (I do like him). It's just, the trampling over the feelings of others in pursuit of your own goals and claiming that your feelings are the only ones that matter and the being okay with hurting others as long as he has a good reason for it. Which I know other characters do, but still. Also I would never dress like that.

Todd sucks so much ass and I genuinely love that for him. Did not expect to like him and his freak bullshit, but he is the comedy relief of Arc7 for me.

Elsa shares a spot with Priscilla tbh.

Least favourite was probably the most difficult. But Pandora is a nothing character. Sure she could be compelling, but so far she does nothing. She isn't even funny, like, even Reid is funny. So she's my least favourite.

Hot take: re zero modern AU’s should have Reinhard wanting to be an astronaut (first man on the moon in Lugunica after all) and have Todd still try to murder Subaru via increasingly elaborate methods due to thinking that Subaru knows Todd’s horrible secret: he’s a closeted furry (his canon werewolf form would be his fursuit).

Incredibly based, I agree vehemently.

Reinhard and Subaru bond over talking about stars and space. Todd builds one of those overly complicated domino-esque traps to kill Subaru, but Subaru just steps aside once and it misses him.

Bonus: Todd thinks Subaru knows his secret because he was doodling his fursona in public and Subaru leaned over to ask for something, Todd scrambled to cover the paper in a panic and now thinks Subaru surely saw—Subaru had been too distracted to actually look at the paper, so he actually has no idea
