Meets Subaru, is initially nice and normal the first loop, while still being suspicious of her character. (Loop happens). Now is trying to kill Subaru because they believe that they are dangerous and will kill everyone. Demihuman, but this was initially kept from Subaru + the reader as a plot twist. Has a loved one who they are devoted to above all else and at times uses as an excuse for their actions. And also like, that the demihuman type that they are being one that is hated. (Rem specifically for her having one horn, not for being an Oni).
And putting this is Arc 7-8 was such an incredible idea on Tappei's end. Because. These are the Arcs with amnesiac Rem! Todd works as an incredible contrast to her past actions, specifically in an Arc where Subaru has to confront her memories of Rem and how she had convinced herself that their relationship was better than it was!
Omggg, just. He is making me insane (/pos). I love Todd so much, he was the comedic relief that Arcs 7-8 needed.
Also. Todd being parallel with Rem means that there are now further grounds for ToddSuba. This is how Todd x Subaru x Katya can still win.
