Imagine if one of the previous Golden Guards found out about the grimwalker thing and officially went MIA, but actually used the portal to the human realm to escape Belos' whole deal and built himself a new life as some kind of lumberjack in a lone hut in the woods*. The gang finds out about this by coming across the guy and Hunter getting an axe shoved in his face by a sixty-something "cospiracy enthusiast" who's been on the lookout for anyone looking for him ever since and is not too pleased to see Hunter, leading to confusion on all sides. *I'm aware that statistically speaking the previous GG would have come to earth and immediately socialized himself a new nuclear family, but he was raised quite differently from Caleb and I do not believe that all the caleb clones had game, okay, some of them need to embrace the weirdness more.
