Missandei of Naath, herald to Daenerys Targaryen

I worry about Missandei. She is Daenerys' most loyal and loving companion. More than her bloodriders, her hand maids, or her Queensguard. Missandei asks for nothing from Daenerys, only barely hoping for the love Daenerys gives so freely. If anyone has ever truly loved Daenerys, not the queen, not the trophy, but the person, it is Missandei.

This could be a good thing. Daenerys needs an heir, and Missandei has the knack for reading people. This could also be a weakness, or a betrayal.

Quaite claims that Daenerys will know three treasons before she is done. While Daenerys believes that the treasons for blood and gold have been perpetrated, that doesn't mean she's right, and it certainly leaves the door open for a treason of love.

If Missandei betrayed Daenerys, it's unlikely it would be on purpose. She would either have been tricked, of believe that what she's doing would help Daenerys. Whatever the case, I'm always afraid for the children of ASoIaF. Especially children loved by the protagonists.
