Pippi Longstocking: The Strongest Girl in the World - Scene 6
F. On the Way Home In the Sunset
Ext. Field - A beautiful day falls on the edge of the cliff. The sky is red and the clouds are colorful.
Ext. Road overlooking the field - The horse carrying the three children trots down the slope toward the beautifully shining town.
Ext. Front Yard of the Settergren house - Tommy and Annika dismount, say goodbye and Pippi heads for Villa Villekulla. Tommy and Annika wave and run inside their already lit house. Pippi enters the Villekulla gate.
Int. Villekulla Kitchen - Pippi sits alone and puts her feet in the basin. She then puts her foot in her lap and licks her big toe.
Pippi's face appears strange. Her nose twitches.
Pippi: "I hope Mother isn't worried about me tonight.. She must be worried!"
Pippi stands up in the basin the runs over to the door.
Ext. Villekulla - Pippi stands in the doorway, looks at the night sky and shouts
Pippi: "Don't worry about me, Mother! I'm doing okay!"
Pippi's voice echoes in the high and clear starry sky and her clear eyes looking up are adorable. She turns on her heel and walks back into the house. The figure of the white horse on the porch stands alone. Pippi opens the window and lightly hugs the horse's neck.
Pippi: "Good night."
Int. Kitchen - Pippi closes the window, picks up Mr. Nilsson, who is crouching on the bed, takes the candleholder from the desk, turns off the lamp light and leaves the room.
Int. Bedroom - Pippi enters the room, puts the candle on a chair, lays Mr. Nilsson on the bed,
walks over to her own bed, places the sheet over it, then gets into bed upside down with her head at the foot and her feet on the pillow, covers herself with the topsheet, before popping her head out and blowing out the candle.
Int. Bedroom - The room is illuminated by the moonlight. Villa Villekulla is calm and quiet.
