Thank you for the ask @tomwise! ^^ If it's cool with you, I'm very much in my GX feels so I'm gonna answer for Jaden and Jesse! 🌸 first impression: what was the first thing you noticed about them? what did they think of you?

First thing I noticed about Jaden was his incredible ability to smile through his troubles, both in AUs and also in real life when I watched the series the first time. It's why I latched onto him when my depression was worsening at the time.

As for what he first noticed about Renni...I'm not too sure..? Probably her snarky attitude and dry humor...

First thing I noticed about Jesse watching the series is that I fucking hated him tbh...He shows up in season three and starts snarking characters who have been there the whole time and it aggravated 12 year old me. In AUs, Jesse and Renni are childhood friends and Renni always notices Jesse's very kind first and foremost.

Jesse will almost always notice that Renni is alone and has no other friends first in AUs.

🍓 first date: what did your first date look like? was it planned or spontaneous?

This depends ENTIRELY on what you consider "a date". Does it have to be consciously communicated as a date? If it a date if you're flirting and hang out one on one?

If it doesn't have to be communicated as a date, the first time Jaden sneaks into Renni's dorm room at night to hang out when they can't sleep...Or maybe that time Renni took Jaden to a big mall for his birthday would be the first date if hanging out in dorm doesn't count? If it has to be communicated and called a date before hand then probably going to an amusement park...

If it doesn't need to be communicated to be a date first, the first time Jesse brought Renni to his house to hang out when she was 4 and he was 5, and they chopped wood on his grand parents farm. If it's got to be communicated first, when Jesse took Renni to a birthday dinner date to Dave&Busters and won her too many prizes, all of which she cherishes.

Btw you might already know this but most phones in the accessibility tab or audio tab will have a setting called mono audio. When it’s turned on the audio is played equally through both headphones so you can enjoy the whole song in one earbud
