Hey guys! Finally got around to releasing this Nuke Gizmo, the rsToneMappers V1.2. It is now far along enough that I felt its ready for public release. We are in talks with the Redshift devs to hopefully package this up nicely in the Redshift installer in the future. For now, you can download it on my Patreon free, download link below. Install it like a regular Nuke Gizmo.
The rsTonemapper includes several tone mapping methods and parameters to edit your linear renders inside of Nuke. It includes Redshift Photographic Exposure (Similar to Reinhard), Filmic Tone Mapping, Exponential Luma (Similar to Modo/Maxwell), and finally Highlight Compression (Similar to Corona). This is a great free tool for everyone to use regardless of the render engine. I hope that someone out there can also develop a Fusion version of this tool.
Credits to the original creators of these tone mapping methods and original Nuke Gizmo's which I based this tool on and further modified. John Hable's research on Filmic Tone Mapping, Erik Reinhard on his Reinhard research paper. Also credits to Adrian Cruceru for building the foundation to the Redshift Photographic Node, Simon Lundberg and Martin Geupel who helped convert Filmic and other tone mappers used for this modified Nuke Gizmo.
Thanks again for all the support on both Youtube and Patreon! I hope you guys enjoy the Nuke Gizmo!
