All Tomorrows OCs? On my art blog? It’s more likely than you think.
Here’s Bluefrill, a Tool Breeder doctor who takes their job very seriously and will give you a lecture if you deliberately get yourself hurt.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE GIVING MY LAST ALL TOMORROWS POST MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF NOTES ILY SO MUCH
HERE IS THE SEQUEL
I finally drew a Sail Person like I said I would! Their designs are quite tough, honestly. I actually made a few sketches in preparation where I just... figured out how they could stand on land... I decided they’re probably quadrupedal & use their wings to walk the way a pterosaur would. That may be wrong, but as I read it, only their fingers are atrophied, not their whole arms, so I assume that means they can move them. If not then... oops. LOL
Again, these colors are completely speculative on my part. I did initially think the Tool Breeders were just grey, but I felt like that might be too bland so I went with indigo & brownish orange. For the Sail People I always knew I wanted them to be teal & orange, as a form of weird camouflage... if seen from above they look like a rock formation, if seen below they blend in to the water! If seen head-on, they look... a bit like charizard if I’ll be honest. I know the book’s picture of the sail people didn’t display them with such a dramatic difference in value (or patterns at all) but... lets just say this guy has a unique pattern! I guess that makes him an OC..?
Anyways, warmup sketches under the cut.
got my good pal into all tomorrows and now we have convos like this daily
