So I just teared up an insane amount when Valka and Cloudjumper make their first appearance and the score crescendos. Fucking hell.

Sometimes I think about how John Powell put two tracks on the HTTYD2 soundtrack and one of them is called “Toothless Lost” and the other is called “Toothless Found”.

I like the symmetry of that. Plus, I like when music tracks titles or episode titles have character names in them.

Did anyone else notice that As Long As He’s Safe has similarities to both Where’s Hiccup from the first movie and Toothless Lost? Especially the quieter parts.

It really broke my heart when I noticed it; they are both lost without each other, but they are also okay as long as the other is safe.

My nieces, nephew, and I were watching HTTYD 2 and my nephew was cracking jokes as we watched.

*Hiccup extends the dorsal fin on his flight suit*

"He's half dragon now."

*Valka rises above the clouds in her introductory scene*

"The Statue of Liberty has arrived!"

Me as the sad choral music of Toothless Lost plays: He’s not gonna fit on the door!!!

Okay but like I legit teared up when Toothless Lost began because L I G H T I N G

Toothless Lost and Toothless Found having that like choral humming sounding stuff in it is just lovely and I can't help but associate that with Toothless. 

Toothless, you are sad choral humming.
