1. Kanut: MY ACE KING!! it’s ace visibility week so of course this aroace icon is more visible this week!!! he’s so emotionally complex with everything he pushes down and how he tries to care for everyone else. i love him so so much
2. Zi Se: I project Too much onto this boy. Like he just means So Much to me, i can’t even.
3. Tom Nook: i’m not separating Tomkin and Nanook sorry. Also this is my excuse to reveal to y’all that I’m being Tom Nook for Halloween and my roommate is being Isabelle and she doesn’t know I’ve secretly agreed to an Animal Crossing costume for the secret taob reference. But yeah tomkin is amazing for his younger sibling energy and nanook is so emotionally intelligent and I love them both
4. Chena: sorry tovah you’re amazing, but Chena is just more iconic for his anger issues PLUS how amazing a father figure he is
5. Tulok: I just think it’s so iconic he was supposed to be mean, but nah his sweetness shone through even though hella didn’t intend it. like he killed lee, but he regrets it. he’s such a nice guy, a big softie
5+1: Lanse: i know we only knew him for five minutes but he literally would’ve sacrificed himself for his brother (but is obviously the still alive) and I just love him sm

Aw, yus, love this, thank you! Any excuse for self-indulgent navel-gazing.
1. Paper Skin. Probably not my best fic, but it was my first attempt at planning ahead or anything vaguely resembling a slow burn or angst. And I like to think it’s kind of unique :)
2. Solace. Only the first part cuz I’m pretty meh on the second tbh, but I spent so much time on this one and I really do think it’s some of my best writing. It’s probably the only thing I can reread without wanting to change much.
3. Coda. I just really love angst, and I got to play with some of my thoughts on how I think canon Tomura would view love 🥲
4. Vers. Got a lot of love from my enby peeps on this one and it was very sweet and validating 😭 And writing some variation of male!reader was really fun.
5. Offering. Can’t forget my roots—I started writing this just thirsting for Shig and ended it in love with him 🖤

5. the sky is everywhere by jandy nelson (basically the only book that I read as a teenager that I have continued to reread in my adulthood)
