omg yes sis. gimme them 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s headcanons. like 1940s Arya would def join as an Army nurse or w/e to help out and Cat is totes against it but Arya does it anyways. like at first she does it to hear news about Jon but then she meets a damn fine wounded solider with blue eyes and black hair who gives her a hard time but she loves it. and they grow attached to each other but the war is raging and they get separated but later reunite and it's hella romantic and Cat is shook af lol

oh that is a classic!! ok i love war nurse arya because it just fucking works. she would want to help no matter the risk. thats canon. plus we’ve literally seen her do everything from helping POWs escape imprisonment to stitching warriors up to giving prisoners water and one last mercy. arya’s been exposed to all the harsh realities of the war front too. she’s seen the horrors. it is a perfect storm of an au lol. arya would be a claire (from outlander) type war nurse. she very resourceful and determined. she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty or to be out in the wilds. i looove that she’s trying to keep tabs on jon. like arya would see him in the young soldiers (which also happens when arya’s in her first battle) and it would break her heart. esp her one patient - this bastard boy who says things at the “same exact instant” with her just like jon would. arya reads to gendry. she offers to write letters too but he doesnt have anyone to send them to. they fall head over heels in love. and yeah obviously get split up. arya goes back home after the war. its a whole year before gendry shows up on her doorstep in his uniform. big damn kiss!!!!!!!!! cat is shook but mama cant be mad. that boy is fiiine lol.
