Torai has warned you too many times. He knows people, he can see right through them. His sweet little friend getting her heart broken over an ugly cheating asshole? That just won’t do, will it?
He always gets those calls from you, you cry and tell him what your ex did this time and the only thing he can do is give you advice. There’s no point in telling you to dump him when he knows you won’t listen. He just doesn’t understand what you see if this loser? He’s attractive? Torai gets so many bitches with just smiling. The loser has money? He can buy you a house and get you a state of the art vehicle of your choosing. The loser has good dick? Torai can make you meet God with his tongue, alone.
It took him by surprise when you called him at 4 in the morning, his prime REM slumber. He wakes up drowsy, hearing your ringtone that he created just for you. He can only anwers with a “Lemme guess, it was your dick boyfriend again.” Only letting you respond with a weak ‘yeah’ before he’s saying ‘I told you.’ It takes him by an even bigger surprise when you tell him that you dumped the zero. He can hear your voice holding back the weakness, he can already tell how your words feel like they’re wrapped in barbed wire. He can only tell you that he’ll be there soon. He’ll make it all better, okay? Just trust him, he’ll make it all go away. It’ll be like when you never even knew the guy existed.
It takes him what feels like mere minutes before he’s knocking on your door. He has a bottle of wine in one hand and some of your favorite snacks in the other. But you don’t wanna waste any time, not when you felt like you’ve just had your mind mushed and drained. You can only say that he cheated on you before you’re dragging Torai into your apartment and taking everything out of his hands to leave them on the coffee table. He doesn’t find this odd, it usually happens after all. Except this time it seems serious, there’s a different look in your eyes. One of desperation and need for him, he likes this look on you. He lets you lead him to your room, and he stands in front of you as you sit at the foot of your bed. Your hands leading his own to your face as you lean into their warmth.
“Make it go away, Torai, ’m tired, jus’ don’ wanna think anymore.” Yeah, he can fix this. He can make that sadness go away, make those thought running a million miles an hour disappear, too. He doesn’t mind that you’re clawing at his clothes, accidentally letting them tear, he can only reassure you that he can get more. He doesn’t mind that you won’t let him go either, with your legs wrapped around his hips as moving, thrusting into you so delicately. He can fix those tears coming out of you too, he knows the stretch hurts and being filled all the way is something new for you. He can only whisper in your ear that it’ll feel good soon, he promises you, as your arms wrap around his shoulders, nails digging into his tatted back. He kisses away the tears, egging you to let loose, that your moans and whimpers let him know that he’s making you feel better. That he’s fucking away that hurt you’ve felt for so long.
He knows you’ve forgotten the world outside of his embrace when he’s kissing you and you can barely respond, gasps and ‘oh’s’ fill your room when he’s rubbing that squishy spot that your ex could never reach. But there’s no need to worry about him anymore, not when you can only see Torai on top of you, fixing and rearranging your world to be his now. It’s always been a second nature for you to tell Torai that you love him. But when you’re mumbling “love you Torai, love you s’much” as you stare up at him with dazed and clouded eyes, it stirs a different feeling in you. He’s ruined you for every man that comes after him, what he can do, no other man will ever be able to.
You can only lay in his arms afterwards, a leg thrown over his waist as your head lays on his chest.
“I’ve been stupid, huh?” Voice barely loud enough for him to hear you over the sounds filling your room. Your mind fighting your eyes to stay open, watching whatever shitty old school show he put on your tv. His arm hugs you closer and he takes another suck of his lollipop before he takes it out.
“Nah, just a lil’ mislead. But ‘m here now.” His voice rasps out, a light chuckle falling from his lip before he’s sticking his lollipop back in his mouth. You arm over his torso hugs him tighter and you bury your face into his chest. This is what you needed all along. Just needed your Torai. Your moment almost gets interrupted, he can see your phone on the night stand next to him begin to buzz and light up. The caller ID showing your ex was calling after he picked it up to see who was bothering you at this time of night. He only answers with a hello before your ex is asking Torai what he’s doing answering your phone.
“Don’t ever call or bother her again, you know who I am and you know what I can do.” Such a simple sentence was able to strike extreme terror into your ex. He does know who Torai is and he does know what Torai can do, it’s best to just forget all about you and leave you to the big bad wolf. Torai hangs up just as you started to stir awake and threw your phone to the floor. He’s shushing you asleep again and tugging the blanket over you some more, letting his needed sleep take him over again. He’ll deal with any specifics later, just needs to feel how right this is, how right you two fit together. You’re with the hero, forever and for eternity, you’ll be with him from now on.

so the piece itself is a giant drawing of HAL aka the player in Project Arrhythmia, how they look in game is just a square with three smaller squares following behind them to show you your health. But for this piece i took each section of them and themed it around PA and the first three bosses that the game will have.
