The Land of Water was not, by any means, a familiar land to the blond. He'd been trying to pick his way to a rendezvous point to meet with his partner, but it had been hours; Sasori had more than likely left by now, and Deidara was getting agitated. Everything looked the same!
Ugh. But to stoop enough to ask where he was... No, actually he was more than willing to do that at this point. All he wanted was to get someplace that wasn't here. Landing his bird beneath the tendrils of a gloomy, off-green willow and carefully climbing down to the uncomfortably damp earth below, the blond strained his sharp, cerulean hues about the foggy terrain in search of another living person.
Just out of a reasonable line of sight, he thought he saw someone; long, dark locks, pastel clothing.... Or was it a person? Deidara could hardly tell, but on the off chance it was...
Stealth, it became quickly apparent, was going to be far from possible; every move the bomber made created a distasteful squelching sound. Maybe it was how he was distributing his weight, but maybe it was his inexperience with marsh-like ground.
Nix that then. Trying his best to find a safe and quick route, Deidara picked his way over to the figure. "Hey! Can you tell me where I am, hm?"
