Alla Panna- black forest ham, mushrooms, a creamy garlic sauce and cheese tortellini.

I have CRAVED this for well over a year. I do not like to travel, unless its by airplane followed by a beach front, and this was well worth it. It always is.

I met my boyfriend almost 3 years ago, a dating site might've been used(what a shock), and we would book a shitty motel-the cheapest we could get. We booked that hotel for 1.5 years while he finished his 4 year military contract, and guess what is right beside that hotel? This amazing italian restaurant, that can't possibly fit 75 people, tucked beside a prom store and a iguana-something another restaurant.

Now that he is not active military anymore, we have no reason to travel to Columbus, GA anymore for our little delight. So the trip was special, the meal was special, and Caffe Amici created a memory. That's what food is supposed to do right?

I honestly can not comment much on interior, because I walk in too excited for the menu. Garlic bread, salads, cheese triangles, Labrusco sweet red wine, friends, and entrees. The only perfection I focused on.

Ever bite something and it just make you happy? You expect the worst, but for once, you are met with a pleasant surprise? The tenderness of the tortellini was silkie, buttery, al dente, and encased itself well with the sauce.

Tortelini is 1 van mijn favoriete pasta soorten, daar kun je mij in elk geval s’ nachts voor wakker maken. Dit recept is in een handomdraai klaar. Ik moet er bij zeggen de broccoli roosjes hadden wij nog over dus die hoort officieel niet in het recept maar dat is uiteraard ook lekker er door.

  Ingrediënten voor 4 personen

Tortelini 440 gram (2 zakjes)

Ham uit blik

2 Grote uien

Paprika 3 kleuren
