they really popped tf off with spock as a character. no one will ever be him again. the way he bitchily says, "35" when the lady from plato's stepchildren asks him how old he thinks she is, and he doesn't even look sorry when she's so offended cuz she stopped aging at 30. i'm obsessed.

Bro (gender neutral), nobody told me that Star Trek The Original Series had an openly pro-choice episode. Kirk is so much hotter for that.

For a bit of context, "The Mark of Gideon" (3x16) aired in 1968, 8 years after the Pill was commercialized as a contraceptive and 5 years before Roe v Wade happened.

And I watched it 55 years after it aired, in 2023, one year after Roe v Wade was overturned. And now I'm depressing myself.
