Fukawa had seen this kind of stuff happen to other people and on TV but it was never something she thought that she would actually live through. She had always believed that there was no one for her, she was destined to be alone. However, just this moment told her otherwise. She nodded at the girl’s name, finding it somewhat pretty. She wasn’t sure if that was her tastes speaking or the overwhelming sensation of fate she had just been slammed with. “M-my name is Touko Fukawa.” Her words were quiet, more hesitant.

Kirigiri's body froze immediately. So her soulmate was to be one of the most popular romance novelists in this country?! The detective may not have expressed what she felt on the outside, but on the inside she could only feel shock. "...a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Fukawa-san." she spoke, more softly than usual before extendeding her hand out. "Unlike you, I am...nothing but of a detective. To be the soulmate of a very famous author is definitely a miracle, and as well as an honor." It was impressive. This very girl seemed around her age as well and having such a talented writer at that point made everything far more ridiculous.
