Send " hot chocolate" for my muse's reaction to you bringing them a cup of hot chocolate
The floor is caked with dust and littered with wires slowly falling suit. Touko travels farther into the room, minding her steps, peering at the man through dismal lighting and stray hairs. Her jaw is set tight, and thereâs an odd feeling seizing her chest the closer she getsâ itâs not quite fear, not like seeing an apparition⌠but itâs uncanny. The resemblance, the passion.                                           ( and who could forget the n a m e  ? ) "âŚThree minutes⌠is an improvement⌠   But itâs been⌠a weekâ!!     Do you have any estimate on a timeframeâŚ?â The screens in front of him illuminate the world in anglesâ it hurts her eyes, now, although it wasnât so long ago the light was comforting, and perhaps it is still comfortingâ but not within the presence of ghosts. A question is at the tip of her tongue, but now is not the time.
The man racked his brain to think of an answer to her question. He knew that just making a stable and lasting connection would be the best thing to accomplish, but that wasn't possible, not anytime soon at least. If only he didn't feel so rushed, so in danger, so...useless, maybe then could he provide better results.
"An estimate...it may be possible to get up to ten minutes by the end of this week, but...I can't really make any promises. If anything, I can at least get to...six minutes. Anything stable may take, well, longer." He sighed to himself. "Maybe even a month..." But would he even be around by then? It seemed like he was pressured into just being successful for the time being. Of course, he knew what he had to do and didn't want the others to fail due to being selfish. He only wished time wasn't a problem.
"Have you seen my pet anywhere? She's a dove and I'm afraid she got excited earlier and flew into the hallway. I've yet to see her since."
"A dove? I believe I might have seen a bird fly around here a few minutes ago. Though, I didnât pay much attention to the type of bird it was. If you need help finding her, Iâd be more than happy to help. I do know the direction it flew off to, so thats a startâŚ"
Gundam was silent for a moment, pondering in thought. âHmmâŚwell if she heard me then sheâs obvious still in the building. If not, I think we night want to head outside all together!â
"Ah, yes, that could be a great idea. Oh, maybe she has a favorite spot outside this building? Or something she likes around here...maybe she was attracted to that sort of thing." He was just throwing out suggestions, unsure of the bird's likes and dislikes.
ă çç¸ ăâ  â Studies have been faring well. I assume you are waiting for someone from the academy? â Â
"Thats very good to hear! I'm glad that there are no problems. And yes, I'm waiting for my child...I'm not sure if you know them or not, but...maybe you do. Does the name Chihiro sound familiar?"

"I seem to be getting more visitors then usual. Um, I hope I can be of assistance."
"I am 21," he muttered to himself, "Not that it really matters, butâŚ"
"I apologize...I didn't know...although I'm sure that does matter, right? At least for certain things it should."
Takaaki rolled his eyes at the manâs offer and nodded at him. âWeâll see.â He answered and continued walking then. He knew he would never get out of the idea of hot cocoa out of his head, but nevertheless, he was an okay friend. He was alright to hang around when he wasnât being completely frail and unreliable.
But the âlow on cashâ option Taichi gave was enough to make him sigh at him. He knew that Fujisaki knew about his money problems, but at the same time, he didnât want to admit such a thing. The idea that he wanted to help pay was almost a blow to his pride. âLook, Iâm okay, you donât have to worry about it.â He muttered at him taking out a cigarette and lighting it.
"Mm, I donât usually get fancy. Iâll just get a light ale or something." He shrugged and took a drag on his cigarette. Fancy drinks were moreâŚfor bachelorette parties or host clubs, it was definitely not his scene at all. "Women are the only ones that get fancy drinks."
Women, and Taichi, Iâm sureâŚ
Taichi had hoped he could have done more for his friend. He just wanted to make the man happy as he rarely seemed to be. But thats just how he was, the programmer realized that pretty quickly, yet he didn't want to accept it. This guy could definitely use a little more joy in his life.
"Well...if you're sure." Count on Taichi to look out for him anyway. While he wasn't too rich, the man could always spare some cash on someone who needed it. Even if it was on some kind of drinks he'd never heard of before, but he's going to sort of act like he knows the difference in drinks. Which won't last long.
"They get the fancy ones? I guess I'll be able to learn which ones are fancy and which ones aren't, huh? But I should probably start off light..." Something with little, or better, no alcohol. But with Takaaki, it seems like he's going to have drink something with that.
The programmer turned away as his friend breathed in that horrid smoke. "I see you still smoke...will everyone be doing that in the bar?" He could handle smoke from one person, but from a whole room...maybe not.

"Itâs n-not a problem a-at all." she said as she shook her head, "I mean, i-if you were leading the way t-then it wouldnât make much sense for you t-to need me to take you t-there right?" she pointed out as she lead the way up the stairs. And it didnât end up taking very long to reach the floor the office was on, heading down the hallway until she stood in front of the office door. "The o-office is right here." she said as she gestured towards the door, turning around to face him. "Though, if you e-ever have any problems with finding a-anything else in the school, I donât mind l-lending you a hand a-again."Â
"Haha, you have a point with that. I suppose it was silly of me to say such a thing." He laughed it off. Yet, was glad she didn't mind him saying such an obvious thing. A slight mistake on his part, that he ignored as he followed the student to the office door. "Ah, thank you very much, Tsumiki. You did help me a lot today...and thank you for that offer as well. I don't want to continuously bother you, but I will remember to go to you if I ever need help when I return here." Taichi smiled at the girl as his hand went to the door. "Well, I hope I didn't interfere too much with your duties, and have a great day."
He always needs more time; itâs a common complaint amongst the resistance, a phrase readily disposed and resting at tip of their tongueâ a phrase she has only thought, never verbalized, because meeting deadlines was the of upmost importance before the world became muddled and her inspiration ran dryâ                                        ( as did her audience, her safety, her prideâ ) âŚbut she concedes, albeit with disappointment written in knit brows and across dry lips as she picks at dead skin. "âŚHow long was it, thenâŚ?!    I needâŚsomething else good to report back, so I d-donât look like a foolâ!!â
He felt terrible for not being able to set up a stable connection. The programmer was doing all that he could in order to sustain it, but there were somethings that he just couldn't control. Those children really had done their thorough work of containing the poor adults in this city.
"Well, compared to before, this time it could last a full three minutes. Of course there are still times when theres an interruption, but I think we can manage to hold a very quick conversation with that...Thats something good to report back, isn't it?"
"Of course, Mr Fujisaki. I will make certain that in the future I make use of your teachings. With this information, I may become richer than I ever hoped." She lied smoothly.
The information was all but useless, but there was no point in saying that. She might as well have him believe that he sincerely helped her.
"Yes, I do hope it makes you very successful. I'm not sure if it'll improve your talent, but these are some things to take into consideration during your next gamble."
He had found the information quite informative, even if he wasn't the gambling type, it was easy to decipher certain codes with a computer. Taichi was just happy to be of help to her.
*Nekomaru turned around to see a man holding a wallet. Didnât seem like his, this one was brown leather, not black.â
"That canât be mine!" *He tapped his back pocket to make sure it was there, and luckily it was.* "Open it up, what does the ID say?"
"Oh, its not?" He never thought to check the contents of the wallet. It felt like he'd be looking into another person's 'personal' life. But it wouldn't be a crime to check and find out who the owner of this was. "Lets see...it says...Ibuki Mioda...? Do you happen to know who that is?"

"Ah, students of Hope's Peak, I assume? I do hope your studies are going quite well."
"Oh nah," Kazuichi shook his head to assure the older man. Chihiro wouldnât do anything to get in trouble, of course, but Kazuichi was a bit different. It didnât matter because they didnât get in trouble anyway. "We got permission to, it was one of the old computers the school didnât use anymore."
He nodded back at the man. âOf course, Iâll come to you first Fujisaki-san!â He smiled even wider.
"You did? Thats a relief to hear. I shouldn't have thought it was going against the rules in the first place." Shouldn't jump to conclusions, but at least he was just looking out for them in the end. Plus the school had allowed such a thing. Maybe there were certain parts they could get, but just how much from old computers? Taichi had to help out somehow.
"Thank you. I just want you both to truly succeed! Which I'm sure you'll do. And I'm glad I could help out in some way, you know?"
The officer couldnât help but chuckle when he realized how fast he got the programmer hooked on his idea. All he had to do was mention hot cocoa and there he was. He was such a child, so innocent, but he had the right to say even still the man was his friend. Solely because their kids were friends, but even still, he was his friend.
At the question if that was something heâd drink, he raised an eyebrow thinking about it. âYou know, if it was my only option, yes, Iâd drink that.â He sighed with a bit of a confused smile. âBut you donât have to worry about preparing anything for me.â
He continued to walk with the man, heading towards the city, where the bar itself wasnât too far. There were a number of bars he had been to in his life of living here; it wasnât unfamiliar of the officers on his squad to go drinking on their offtime which so very rarely happened.Â
"You donât have to treat me." He said with a bit of a shrug. "Itâs no big deal, really." He smiled politely at him.
So Taichi drove him a little crazy, but sometimes he could enjoy his company. Even if he was stupidly optimistic.
"Oh well, maybe I'll save the idea for another time. But if you ever do want it, feel free to ask." The officer liked those kinds of drinks, didn't he? They were headed to a bar after all on his choice. So, maybe he could mix some special hot cocoa for him the next time he came over. Though he wouldn't like to taste test something like that, he'd do it for Takaaki.
The walk to the bar was nice, relaxing even. It was a change to see the city at night and what was open around here, though many things that were unfamiliar to this man were probably more familiar to the officer. Takaaki could be his sort of guide whenever they went out again at night. Taichi could learn about the night life with him, but he doesn't want to bother him about that now. Another time, he'll let his curiosity show, which might bother the other man.
"One day I must! Its only natural to do so." He insisted. "Or even if your low on cash, I'll definitely help out." Taichi just wants to let him know the offer is there and that he won't leave him have to open a...tab? Thats what some places used, right?
"Anyway, what are you going to order there? I'm curious to hear what you want to drink. Is it going to be any kind of fancy named drink?"
taichinchiin entered the clinic
"Oh n-no, the nurse would understand o-once I explain what h-happened." she explained, "I would i-imagine that sheâd prefer me to help you w-while Iâm able to o-offer." The nurse had always been so kind and understanding in the way that Tsumiki thought and did things. So she doubted that the woman would reprimand her for offering her assistance to someone in need. Besides, she couldnât just sit by and let the thought of him losing his way again just roll around in her mind. And she was sure that he would rather be able to get to his destination already.
"S-so then, shall we head up to the staircase?" she asked as she headed towards the door.Â
"I suppose it won't take that long either way. Well, I won't hold you back for too long." At least they were only going upstairs and not across the whole campus. It really wasn't asking too much, Taichi was just worried about her position as the stand in nurse. He'll make sure to make this a fairly quick trip. "Yes, lets head over there immediately. I'm sorry that I'm going to have to be following you for most of the time though." Even with some idea of how the first floor was laid out, it was best to trust someone who knew it better than him.
taichinchiin joined the game!
Celes watched as Mr Fujisaki calculated the statistics on the computer, feigning interest, after he had insisted on teaching her a more efficient way of calculating statistics.
"Thatâs impressive, Mr Fujisaki! I can see where your child gets their talents!" She exclaimed, clapping her hands together happily.
"Chihiro is very fortunate to have a father like you."
He was a little embarrassed from the praise, even if it wasn't sincere. But he was glad that she seemed to enjoy seeing what he had done with a program.
"Oh, its nothing special. I'm certain anyone with coding abilities could do something like this, Chihiro is no exception. I just hope something like this really helps when you decide to take another chance with your talent."
