TOURNAMENT RULES

Hello! I’m staying anonymous, don’t be shy to turn this into some tam cam thing lol. This is a blog designated to find out who the fandoms favorite ship is. The tournament will start September 1st, as long as everything goes according to plan! Now let’s get into the ACTUAL rules.

• You must send me an ask or private message if you would like a certain ship to be in the tournament. I’ll try to think of every ship possible, but I am capable of missing one :)

• If you send me an ask I won’t answer it, but rest assure I have probably seen it!

• You will be able to submit ships until August 25th so I can have time to organize everything

• Any illegal ships will not be included in the tournament. Examples- a minor with one of the adults, or an elf/human with an animal.

• Sokeefe, Sofitz, and Sodex are unfortunately not allowed in the competition. I feel like these are the main ships people talk about, and I would prefer if this made people discuss less popular ships

• Depending on how many ships are submitted, more explanation on how long this will take will be released soon.

• I will allow any propaganda/fanart for a ship, I would love for this to be an opportunity for some creativity!

• These can be submitted any time before/during the contest, as long as the ship hasn’t been disqualified. The art/propaganda will only be used for one round, so multiple people can submit things if they want

RULES

This is a tournament for the Christian Tumblr artist/ writing community (Christblr/ ✝️umblr/ Chrumblr/ Salt and Light)

Absolutely no hate or troll asks will be tolerated; asks are for questions and character propaganda

Practice good sportsmanship; this is a friendly contest, and, no matter who wins, your OC will get some 'free marketing' either way.

While there is no way for me to enforce this rule, don't vote for yourself, out of principle, and don't cheat in any other way. If you want to persuade others to vote for your OC, use the ask box to send propaganda

Have fun! Ultimately, the purpose of this bracket is to promote your OCs and get to know others' OCs as well

Dream XD is dead and without a Creation God, we've looked to the server itself for a replacement. Characters go head to head to win a spot as Administrator of the server, something they definitely deserve and totally asked for and with your propaganda and encouragement, your little guy could become the restoration the server needs or destroy it entirely! RULES

Civility is requested. We are playing with Minecraft characters. Lack of such will result in a warning, and if an infight starts, both parties will be banned from the tournament.

Won't reblog propaganda, however propaganda submissions are allowed and encouraged. With that said, reblog and post about as much propaganda and bribery as you like! <3

Use the characterfight tag to sort through the polls. Rules throughout the polls will require announcements.

hello!

welcome to the taylor swift song tournament!

this will be a tournament with the aim to determine what tumblr's favorite taylor swift song is!

(huge huge huge shoutout to @the-eras-bracket and @taylorswifttournament for inspiring this btw!)

how it works

no rearrangements (acoustic versions, etc), because that would make this tournament even longer and i'm only one person. i am, however, including all too well (10 min version), because it's too iconic to leave out and includes new lyrics.

there will be four polls every day, each with two choices, and each will last a week.

the songs in each poll are completely randomized! this might mean we end up with similar songs in a poll, but if so, it was not done on purpose.

i'm including all of the songs on taylor swift's ten studio albums, as well as a few songs that are not (at this point in time) on any album. all songs, however, have taylor swift as the main singer and songwriter (the only exception is untouchable, since while it was performed by luna halo first, i know it primarily as a taylor swift song and wanted to include it).

just for fun, i'm coloring the songs by album! songs off of debut are green, fearless yellow, speak now purple, red red, 1989 blue, reputation black, lover pink, folklore black, evermore orange, and midnights blue. non-album songs will not have their colors changed.

if any songs come out after today (july 21, 2023), they will NOT be included. this leaves us with a grand total of 200+ songs to choose from. (i was originally going to do this sooner, but then taylor announced speak now tv and i NEEDED to include it)

Ultimate TWST Friendship Tournament Rules

This tournament will be a double elimination tournament consisting of 558 rounds.

All possible combinations of NRC students with the addition of Che’nya and Neige will be included for competition

All combinations will include only two characters

Brackets are completely randomized

All combinations must be be beaten two times to be eliminated from the tournament

Friendly reminder that this is a friendship tournament (it’s understandable if your personal ships sway your opinions but ultimately this is strictly about platonic relationships)

I’ll be writing a short fanfic for the winning besties

BRACKET RULES

This bracket is exclusively for Lightbearers and Guardians canon to the series.

Polls run for one week and are published every Wednesday at 2:45 EST.

During the Crown Bracket, multiple polls will be running at once.

In the event of a 1-1 tie, a one day tiebreaker match will be held.

Whoever wins the tiebreaker takes the versus.

PLAYER RULES

No targeted attacks of other players.

Propaganda is allowed, but be nice about it.

If your propaganda involves directly attacking a character in the poll you will be blocked.

Respect your fellow Guardians.

Submissions are open for propaganda all tournament and new fighters to be added until we reach the final six.

Propaganda will not be added until the Blood Tournament. Because fuck me, man. I cannot manage it before.

Factions will be fighting within themselves to claim the crown as representative for their own faction before moving to Blood Bracket. This is known as the Crown Bracket. Following the Crown Bracket, champions will face against champions of other factions in the Blood Bracket. Once we are down to the final six, the Champion Bracket begins. Winner of this faces against everyone's favorite motherfucker, YOU. The Young Wolf.

PLEASE NOTE: NOT ALL NAMED GUARDIANS ARE ON HERE. ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE. I'M NOT DOING THAT TO MYSELF.

Magic Tournament Rules sec 3.15 states that cards do not have to be swapped 1 for 1 when sideboarding. Does this mean that, if I'm running more than 60 cards main deck, I can board out more cards than I bring in, so long as the deck I present is still 60 cards, or am I not allowed to have more than 15 cards I own outside the game?

You can never have fewer than 60 cards in your main deck or more than 15 cards in your sideboard, so the only way to really take advantage of this rule would be to register something like a 63 card main deck and a 12 card sideboard so that you have three extra cuts to play with in each match. Generally this isn’t a beneficial thing to do, though.
