about the warlocks, and sorry in advance for all the questions - are they able to do all of the magic and specialize in one of the three groups or it's just the magic of the groups that they're able to do? how does specialization come about - is it chosen or is it to do with what they're naturally good at? how does the magic manifest in them?
please, never, ever apologize for asking question, i love them ! i’ll answer them now, one by one:
ARE THEY ABLE TO DO ALL OF THE MAGIC AND SPECIALIZE IN ONE OF THE THREE GROUPS, OR IS IT JUST THE MAGIC OF THE GROUPS THAT THEY'RE ABLE TO DO ?
warlocks are able to do almost all of the magic that exists, but they specialize in one field and strengthen said field to the point that it becomes the only one, and the only type of magic they execute most days. this is because they need to do it, they need to become the most dexterous wielders of said magic to aid and protect warriors to the best of their capacity.
HOW DOES SPECIALIZATION COME ABOUT — IS IT CHOSEN OR IS IT TO DO WITH WHAT THEY'RE NATURALLY GOOD AT ?
it has to do, often, with what they’re naturally good at. at least, that’s the easier path. although, a warlock can definitely choose their specialization because, since they can wield almost any kind of magic, the only thing they need to do to master a field is study it !
HOW DOES THE MAGIC MANIFEST IN THEM ?
same as it does in warriors: out of nowhere. one day they are a regular human, and the next, after a high fever, full of hallucinations, they wake up with the ability to do magic. what they feel is milder than what warriors feel, though, it’s only a buzz under their skin, something they know it’s powerful running through their veins, but it’s not maddening like it is for warriors in the beginning.
