ressler's death(?)
i've been seeing more and more posts lately about ressler possibly being killed off, either because he's been plugged less and less in interviews/with sony/in terms of actual appearances and screen time (toyfrog has made a couple of really well thought-out posts on this) or based on people interpreting certain lines or parallels as foreshadowing this, but i have serious doubts that the writers are even capable of putting that much thought and care into something like that, to be honest. i was wondering what everyone's opinions are??? i'm now pretty concerned he might die in the next episode after seeing that promo (and if not next week, sometime in the future). if so, i mean, at least it's a chance for diego to actually do some good work and show how talented he is in a way we haven't seen for ages, most notably in anslo garrick, and hopefully move on to other projects where he's treated better. but obviously there's a huge part of me that doesn't want him to die because i am in love with the character and hold onto hope that he will save the show for me somehow. the fact that his character started off so central to the series and has since been trashed, pointedly ignored, and reduced to practically nothing is so upsetting. he could and should have been so much more; he could have elevated this show, and that really sucks. idk. thoughts? do you think ressler will be killed off?
