TPN 134 Thoughts My Hopeful Thoughts

We see Ray’s POV peoplee heck yess I hope it stays that way.

Throughout the series, Emma is always the one who bring the best out of everyone. She always the one who managed to bring people out from their slumps. This is just a few examples:

She taught Norman the importance of thinking about the others first before himself.

She reminded Ray that he has family who’ll always support him, that he’s not alone anymore.

She showed Mujika that there’s hope for the future of demons and humans.

She gave Yuugo a purpose in his life after being depressed for so long.

She gave the children from Goldy Pond a courage and a will to fight back against the demons.

She trusted her family enough to help her and she showed them that there’s always hope in every situation.

Heck, she even brought the slump out of her enemy (Lewis) from the boredom he has felt in the last decade (lol, jk).

AND RAY HAS WITNESSED  ALL OF THAT.

HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN WITH HER THROUGHOUT THOSE TIMES.

(wait emma didn't really there with him in those panels, but you get my point. He even managed to witness Emma's influence from other people's pov.)

I really love @kagamine419‘s idea here that the things they’ve experienced so far are based from their own fear. To quote one of his/her paragraph,

“Ever since we first saw Ray and Emma appear in front of GF I had a feeling it would be a test of the mind and heart, especially with the last part of the mural for the seven walls being blank. Yet just how does it test the two? Through their fears and insecurities.”

I think it’s really true. Even when we still haven't see Emma's condition, it is possible that Emma’s fear is this:

She fears all decisions she has made is a mistake. 

She often make her decision based on selfish reason afterall. And this journey is especially selfish.

Right now, Ray is all alone. If we use the usual formula, it’ll be Emma who’ll find Ray first and saves him. But just this once, I think it’ll be interesting to see Emma being the one who were helpless, and it’ll be Ray who’ll save her instead.

He has seen Emma’s struggle from the sideline for almost 2 years now. Now it’s time for him to take a step and help her out. 

I want to see Ray’s character growth. I want to see the evidence that Emma’s influence brings the best out of him. I want Ray to show Emma that what she has done is not a mistake; it only gives him courage to move forward. Yes he’s experiencing some existential crisis right now, but I want him to snap out of it when he remembers Emma’s efforts and how far they’ve come.

If Ray managed to found Emma ever having some existential crisis because of that fear above,

I want him to remind her that the fact he's being able to save her right now is thanks to all of her efforts and her past actions; it'll all come back at her later.

It's not a mistake.

It's all interconnected.

New chapter of the promised neverland spoilers and my theory as the photo shows in those 3 panels. 

I believe it's all an illusion created by asdjkl. Remember when Emma and Ray entered, it brought them to the grace field house and Mom was there with the kids??

I believe it's the same thing here; we don't know exactly what happens that lead to this till the later chapter comes out but perhaps Ray thought he witnessed Emma's death but it was an illusion and she was taken somewhere else by asdjkl
