Building on anon’s earlier question about the dlc: how did you feel about none of the main game characters having a true appearance in the dlc? Personally I found it a bit strange, tone-wise, though I understand why they did it.
in all honesty, it 100% feels weird that no one has said anything.
i found it strange that hytham appeared for literally half a second to be like ‘oh yeah, this is my friend’ and then disappeared without any further context. it is even stranger to me that we literally build a home for azar within the settlement, and no one says anything. not even randvi.
i feel like you have to ask her permission before you do anything hahah otherwise eivor will get into trouble for wreaking absolute havoc across the british isles.
it should have been a case of like randvi gets the letter, you go see her and see the map like she showed you for the vinland arc and then you go and meet azar on the docks where hytham can then say he knows them. it feels really weird to go back into ravensthorpe afterwards and be like oh yeah i’ve just been gallivanting throughout ireland and none of you care.
i lowkey wish i could have thrown sigurd’s sad ass on a boat and taken him with me, but yeah that didn’t happen. i guess i can be somewhat satisfied with the fact that i got to take vili with me but... yeah lowkey disappointed about that, but also like it depends on when they recorded the dlc stuff - covid could have played a very significant role in how they developed the dlcs, who knows!
