Draw me a headcanon: James of Team Rocket
Being a poor little rich boy James wound up going to a lot of expensive summer camps and extracurricular programs. They didn't seem like much to him at the time, and he liked the excuse to get out of the house and go do fun activities with Growlie. All the scattered knowledge he gathered from various nature camps and Pokemon classes and etc. is now a huge help on his travels with Jessie and Meowth. Why do you think the kid can name off any number of oddly-specific facts at the drop of a hat?
Also I think he and Brock may have met at summer camp once.
