Whenever I go and pick up a package from the post office, the post lady asks me do I have the tracking number, and every time I answers no (I just show her my ID). She doesn’t seem to me extremely pleased. But she never asked me to get it prepared next time either. Should I maintain the status quo, or should I jot down the tracking number for her next time? But either way, whether I give her just my name or the tracking number plus my name, she would still have to look up on the computer, right? The me a few years ago who really cared what people thought would have diligently got the tracking number the second time, after I interpreted her emotions. But now I’m inclining toward not changing unless she tells me…
