There’s a scam going around… I received a text message saying the post office needed a correct address to deliver a package. The link takes you to a fake post office page with a “tracking number” shown.
I switched to the official USPS app and entered that tracking number. The app responded with the above message.
If you receive a similar message delete it.
I got an email from Fedex saying my package should be arriving today & when I clicked on the tracking number it literally just said label was created 10 minutes ago in California.

Whenever I go and pick up a package from the post office, the post lady asks me do I have the tracking number, and every time I answers no (I just show her my ID). She doesn’t seem to me extremely pleased. But she never asked me to get it prepared next time either. Should I maintain the status quo, or should I jot down the tracking number for her next time? But either way, whether I give her just my name or the tracking number plus my name, she would still have to look up on the computer, right? The me a few years ago who really cared what people thought would have diligently got the tracking number the second time, after I interpreted her emotions.
