The funniest thing that happened to me yesterday: I updated Trados and Trados informed me that it now recognises emojis. Over 3,500 of them. As a translator working in the legal sector this will make my work so much easier (not)!

If you ever have any installation or licensing problems with SDL Trados Studio or MultiTerm (or if, let's say, the new Trados update fucks up your programme so much that neither you nor your tech-geek boss can fix it and it becomes unusable for almost three working days) you can, in fact, contact Trados Support WITHOUT having a support contract and you can do so using this online form:

Can you share your wisdom about why you can't just delete and re-download trados?
Oh no, deleting and re-installing the programme does work (it's a bit of a hassle and in some cases more than a bit, lol) but that in itself does work. It's just that it doesn't fix the bugs 😁 My Trados and MultiTerm have been updated/reinstalled quite a few times, but I still discover new bugs every now and then...
