The nature of bridges

The funny thing about bridges is, when you burn them down, it's hard to cross back over them.

This is a lesson I've seen far too many people learn the hard way. .... Myself included.

I am the oldest of six boys, but I was raised seperate from my brothers. I still saw them growing up, but not a whole lot. I used to babysit my two youngest brothers, who grew up and became the two most useless individuals on the planet..

Okay that may be a bit of an exaggeration but you get my point. They are my brothers and so I'm allowed to be honest.... They are horrible people.

Anyways, we all have someone in our lives who we would love to see get hammered with some good old karma. My youngest brother, Spencer, is one of those people.

So look, I love my brother, but hes no brother. He's really kinda an enemy. He has tried to screw me over, and has, many times. I tried to show him a better way, but he is unsusceptible to any type of advice. That being said, I did have the pleasure of saying 'i told you so' at least once.

Here's what happened. I introduced him to my best friend ( my true brother) because he used to sell the type of thing my brother was interested in. I did so assuming that he would treat the situation with respect considering he knew this guy was very close to me. He proved me a fool for assuming.

He called my best friend (Brian) and placed an order. When they met, Brian showed him the goods and my brother (Spencer) grabbed it and took off running. Brian was a big dude. He weighed around 300 lbs . There was no way he could have caught him. So, he let it go and added Spencer to the list of people who he would not deal with. This, I believe to be the best decision.

Months later, who would have guessed it, Spencer is in trouble with the law and needs to leave the state.. . Okay. He calls me since Ive been known to do such things like go on the LAM. Also, I lived 1000 miles away and he would be safe with me..

It just so happens that Brian was about to come and visit. Perfect right? Well, would have been if his dumb ass hadn't stole from him.

So, lesson learned? Hell no! This dude is dumber than a box of rocks and has zero loyalty. He will either spend 90% of his life in prison, or end up dead. Sad but true.
